Port Saplaya is a marina located in the municipality of Alboraya.

Only 4 km from the centre of Valencia, it’s a small, beautiful Mediterranean spot. This lovely place has earned the name ‘Little Venice’ because of its architecture, with beautiful buildings in pastel tones, and for its canals and harbour with boats moored right next to the streets. All of this transports us to Venice with its colour and light.

With about 2,000 inhabitants, Port Saplaya is the ideal destination for those in search of relaxation; to disconnect and be busy doing nothing as well as those who like to go on excursions and undertake a whole range of activities.

The seaside promenade with sidewalk cafes and shops, added to all the possible beach activities make it the perfect place to to stay and enjoy yourself.

  • Lifeguards and first aid.

  • Police presence.

  • First aid posts.

  • Tourism office at the beach which offers information, accepts suggestions or complaints.

  • Beach cleaning: during the bathing season there is daily cleaning of the sand, walkways, beach accesses; emptying of bins, separation of waste (glass, paper, packaging)

  • Signs indicating the state of the sea.

  • Beach closure in case of risk from spillages and other risk factors.

  • Hire of parasols and hammocks.

  • Free public toilets.

  • Parking.

  • Kiosks.

  • Quality control of the sea water.

  • Quality control for any kind of infection, especially around foot showers.


  • Situated next to the first aid post. It has an access ramp, toilets, showers and changing rooms, as well as parking for those with reduced mobility.

Port Saplaya has a community pool with showers, children’s area and shallow end freely accessible for the residents of Port Saplaya residents.


Port Saplaya has a nautical club and its beaches are ideal for all sorts of water sports such as windsurf, kitesurf and snorkelling. In the summer, an outdoor cinema is also available.


In Port Saplaya you can enjoy peace and quiet, and also count on regular buses to nearby Valencia, Alboraya and Patacona.
